If it started running poorly suddenly, I would think about whatever you did to it just before it started running poorly. There's a good chance that you knocked something loose or reinstalled incorrectly, or some hose worked it way loose while on your drive, etc.

I removed the aux heating fan to do the backdate so I had to move around the thermo switch. That's the only vacuum thing I touched. That should be an easy test.

Have you checked the injector spray patterns and delivery yet? Do that too.

The engine was just rebuilt and I got 6 new injectors. But I will do that test just in case.

I just put a new FA, filter and FP in. So basically everything from the tank forward is new.

The fuel delivery may be significantly off, even if you replaced the injectors. And even though you got new injectors, no guarantees that the patterns are good, although they most likely are. In your car, you can adjust the delivery to be exactly the same on all 6 injectors because your FD has adjustment screws on top of it next to each banjo bolt. To do the test, you pull out all 6 injectors, leaving them attached to the lines. Put each one into a measuring cup or test tube or such, then run the pump and lift the air sensor arm to various heights, observing the patterns. Then make sure they deliver the same amount of fuel.

Re AAV and AAR, I just took mine off and left them off, and the decel valve too. But I have a hand throttle, so I can manually increase the throttle during warm up. Not having that plumbing in the way makes access to the TOD a lot easier too.

You’ve probably already checked this, but timing can definitely affect your idle. That’s a quick and easy check.

I checked and timing is spot on.
