competition clutch

I track a 78 3.0 911. Presently running a comp clutch, heavy duty PP and lightened flywheel, sprung puck disc. Have considered a Tilton type clutch for sometime now as a good friend runs one and swears it is the best bolt on thing one can do performance wise. Besides the expense, bolt on yes, but a lot of that. A big job. Advantages, disadvantages? What experience have you guys had. Thanks, Bob
