OT- R& T SUV Comments
 

I was reading my latest issue of R&T and saw this quote out of Peter Egan's Side Glances column that made me smile and just had to share. :D

"10) The same Baby Boomers who ridiculed thier parents for dring around in '2-ton land yachts' during the 1960s are now driving around in 2.5 ton SUVs that get the same dismal mileage, but have less luggage space. I oughtta know."

Seems I have missed out, as a kid, the only "land yacht" we owned was a '66 Dodge Van with two seats and a 225 ci engine in between them.

The more things change, the more they remain the same.
