Clifford Alarm Keypad?

Does anyone have a Clifford alarm keypad in their old misc stuff box? I have the hole in the dash, but no keypad. I was thinking it would be some retro fun to affix one.

Thanks!

I had mine removed years ago. Then I had an interior repair company fill the hole, texture coat it, and refinish. Then I bought a new ignition trim ring. Problem solved.

Clifford Alarm Keypad?

I have one and find it to be a charming piece of antiquated history. Ripping out the guts of the alarm system in the frunk etc was a pain. I only kept the pad because of the hole in the dash.

to the OP ..if you really need it ..you can have mine for some beer money plus post..i think i have it in the tool box for past 35 years;-)...

Hmm I wonder if the lights still work.

One if these was installed in my first car--'80 turbo trans am. I loved it, but yes, the hole in the dash isn't worth it.

***EDIT: Please make sure the OP gets what he is looking for first.

Love the old keypads...first one I ever saw was a college roommate in his Audi Quattro. Oh, the 80's tech!

I too am looking for a keypad if anyone has one laying around and wants to get rid of. Just PM me...

Have a cutout in a 911 restoration project - alarm keypad sadly removed many years ago by PO. I actually have the (never used) Clifford decals for the window, sales sheet and owners manual, - but no keypad.

If I recall correctly, one of the POs lived in one of those east coast cities, hence the double protection.

Interested if a car phone too?

Clifford Alarm Keypad?

It wasn’t or rather didn’t have a phone function. It’s pretty funny that most code input arrays back in the day mimicked phone keypads aesthetically (ivory white buttons with the number and alphabet and symbol nomenclatures). Even the silly largish size of the Clifford keypad is unnecessary - it coulda been half the size and consequently less obtrusive. But alas it was the era of largess that Clifford ruled the car alarm world. To this day I still have some wires from the system in my car (the 9v replaceable battery backup port lol)

I have Clifford alarm in my car, complete with the keypad. It still works well, after about 43 years

pgsandiego 05-22-2023 12:27 PM

I still have mine installed and it still works great! It's amazing that it's lasted this long (thinking about it now, I could see it perhaps leaving me stranded one day when it dies).
