Show me your early non S bumpers.

im trying to figgure out the differences in the fog light covers, mine over lap the bumper, however some i have seen look to sit in the hole on the bumper.

I got excited reading the title of this post thinking I might have something to offer (rather than my usual drivel).

Unfortunately, when I bought my car it had nothing in the holes. I can show great pics showing gaping foglight holes with no covers...

Red,

You can come take a look at my bumper in person today if you have time. Since the sun is out, I drove it to work. I'm up across from timberlyne shopping center on airport road. Turn right on Weaver Dairy fropm airport (coming from CH) take the first left and then the first left. Look for Yellow 911 on the right. My fog light covers are different from the red ones that were posted. I have a black rubber gasket around the outside and I don't believe they overlap at all. It could just be a question of paint.

On my '73, the covers have a black vinyl gasket around the edge and overlap the bumper. Its wrapped up in plastic and in storage now so pictures are hard to get - it was replaced with a steel "S" bumper this spring (much better look).

My '72 has the overlapping covers with a rubber gasket that fits around the edge.
