991T 1973 Suspension rubbers - what to buy?
New here
Doing a full rebuild of my dad's beautiful old girl.Suspension rubbers (all rubbers, in fact) need replacing and trying to decide whether to go with standard original Porsche parts or Polyurethane 'upgrades'. Hoping for a rundown of the pros and cons of each, considering quality, longevity, effect on ride and effect on collectibility. Thanks in advance! ![]() James |

Stick with rubber.

Do not use the polyurethane ones. Eventually they squeak and groan. I used the Rebel racing teflon bushings at the front, and so far, I do not find them to increase harshness and noise at the front of the car on relatively smooth roads. On rough rods and potholes they do increase the harshness a little. But, if you want to keep the feel original, then use the OE rubber bushings.
