Bench testing aav and decel valve procedure
 
I have my cis apart on my ‘82 sc. Can anyone advise on quick bench test procedure with a mityvac? Hopefully Tony can chime in.

Look for a guy named JoeEngineer on you tube and google. He has some short demos on how to test these.

Ah, my favorite CIS vacuum driven throttle bypassing doodads mucking with the air flow.

Good reading on the decel valve at https://cis911primer.com/pages/comp_page.html#decelvalve and AAV further up the same page.

Ok great my hand held vacuum pump holds when testing the nipple on deceleration valve.....so that works. Now the aav is left to verify
