Need fuel lines for 1983 SC

Can anyone recommend a source here? I emailed Len Cummings a week or two ago and got no response. Is he still making them?

I think so. Len's last post here was about a month ago, and he offered a fuel line.

Is this the email address you used? len.cummings @ verizon.net

I got an email from him today. Try this email address len.cummings@verizon.net . If you cut and paste as I did once before, you will get no response. There is a space between the s in cummins before the @ and before the v in verizon.

Just adding another data point. I also sent an email aver a month ago to the address that Deemsriddle listed. No response either. I was inquiring about an inline fuel filter (with hose, clamp, fittings) to add to my 83SC, since I was swapping out the broken fuel pump.

Ended up just installing the new pump.

I understand. I get about 100 work emails a day too. Better than carbon paper and fax machines but I hate it

I sent a follow up yesterday

Just found this and my apologies. I find a few messages get into my spam folder and I miss them.

Similar 100+ a day and set up an automatic spam dump, otherwise I cannot function.

I am happy to help, just overwhelmed at times with my age & habits.

Please try again.

len.cummings @ verizon.net with no spaces.

Thank you all.

Len

Ramone-

I just checked again, nothing with the subject: "Fuel Lines for 83 SC" and nothing with your name "ramone".

I sent you an email through Pelican to "ramonesfreak".

Also, my correct email has no spaces.

You responded to my gmail email yesterday evening at 7:17 pm and I wrote back with some questions at 7:53pm. I’m not posting my email address here but my name is Scott and you did reply to me
…not sure what you mean about sending me an email through Pelican?

Not getting your emails Scott.

I replied through Pelican to the above by picking your forum name "ramonesfreak" and choosing "send email to ramonesfreak".

Try doing the same with my forum name "BoxsterGT" at the left.

I have no idea why your messages do not go through to me unless there is an error in the spelling or punctuation.

Here is the email to my gmail account...not sure why its from Harold but anyway, has your info at the bottom

I replied to the below from my gmail to your verizon.....no need to re-enter your email address when pressing "reply" so not sure what is going on

to me

Hello Scott, got it. I looked back and the message of 5/15 came up. Found it in my spam folder, don’t know how or why.

You are asking about the Fuel lines on the 3.0 SC Motor. Most of the CIS Fuel fittings are unique and NLA (No Longer Available) from Porsche, so I must Re-Make the assemblies using your originals.

Glad this is resolved.

Sometimes hard for me to match up real names with the forum names.

Have a great Porsche day everyone.

'83 Fuel Lines

I had Len set me up with a new set of fuel lines to backdate my '83. I also had him refurbish the original NLA supply and return lines.

As mentioned, you wont be disappointed, just don't be in rush. I am super happy with the results. Len is such a great asset to this community , but there are many of us and only one of him.

I thought these lines were available as like a kit, per year or manufacture date.

If I have to remove all lines and send them, I wont be able to do that until winter and likely wont do it at all as I have no ability do this work at my home.

My plan (I thought/hoped) was to order the lines and bring them to my local air-cooled mechanic for installation when time and money allowed as I have just invested over $6k in suspension work

My days of doing anything other than a basic tune up or replacing a sun roof seal or basic adjustments are over

So, not sure what to do now.
