Squirters replacements
Hi,
I am replacing the oil squirters on a 2.7 engine with magnesium crankcase. Until now, I have only done this on aluminum engines and in addition to Loctite I have treated the edges of the hole to block for the squirters to come out. On the magnesium crankcase I find that impossible, the metal only breaks off. Before I removed the old ones, I could not see that it had been done from the factory either. Any experience, what did you do?

1.Use oversized squirters and loctite 620 retaining compound.
2. Use threaded squirters 3. Install threaded plugs and redrill.

I have already put them in with Loctite 638, I presume that will work?
