Yes,Stock their anodized. Send them to Al reed to have the anodizing removed and polished. There are lot's of ways you can re-do them.
Mine are polished and the centers painted and then clear powder coated on the centers only. This process will keep you from having blisters on your fingers.

I am in the process now. Not going for a true "concours" look but just wanted to clean up a bit. The results have been pretty amazing.

I rubbed w/000 steel wool first. Then, working in VERY SMALL sections applied rubbing compound and hit it w/a drill polishing pad. Very small means an area that you can easily finish while the polish is still wet.

After that hit them w/polishing compoud again with the drill, then Mothers Metal Polish by hand.

al reed is the way to go.......i did mine over the winter and think next time i'll send them out

the easiest way to remove the anodization is "easy-off-oven cleaner" in the yellow can, apply.....wait 45 minutes.....clean off......apply....wait another 45 minutes.....clean off.....no more anodization.
then start sanding.
i picked that up on the bbs.......and it worked great....but be forewarned.......polishing your own fuchs requires TONS OF ELBOW GREASE.........
have fun
