Shiny Side UP again
No the car wasn't in an accident, it's just been on its side for the past couple of years! Wanted to take my time to properly replace the rusted suspension pan and reundercoat the entire bottom of the car but since I don't have access to a lift, I made this contraption to get car on it's side. The hard part was to make the car stand perfectly vertical while on its side to make it easy to measure the levelness of the new pan (6 degrees up from level).
I was so scare of the stand wouldn't hold in the beginning as was coming out to the mancave to check on it in the middle of the night a few times, but turned out it held for 2 plus years. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw...-no?authuser=0 https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw...-no?authuser=0 https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw...-no?authuser=0 Now back on all fours, not four wheels yet. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw...-no?authuser=0 |
