930 w/LSD gear oil

I swear I searched before starting this perilous thread.

I have a 1987 930 with LSD and need to change the gear oil. I run Swepco 201 in my ‘82 SC track car that has a torsion style diff (not clutch). Is 201 advisable in the 930 box with factory LSD?

Thanks!

Quick, put it in your car now before the Kendall crowd shows up and tells you you are doing it wrong.

I’ll pour the Swepco into a Kendall jug and appease all sides.

That's what we always did at the races so that our sponsors thought we were running their products.

I am not in the Kendall crowd and have a 89 930 w LSD I just changed the oil and used swepco but was then told that G50 should use synthetic oil. Not sure if that is true or not. I have had the oil in for about 6 months and it shifts and rides great so hopefully all is well with the swepco
