G50 trans mod for T.O. brg fork shaft
Pelicans, found throw-out bearing fork shaft badly gauled during clutch project on 88 SC
Trans must be machined for needle bearings to accomodate updated fork shaft, since original shaft NLA. Porsche tool 000 721 929 20 consisting of jig and reamer/drill a month away and $600. Anyone have a tool rental program, know a shop that performs mod, or have a viable work-around for this? Any help greatly appreciated! Duffy 911 '71 911T |

You can get the Rausch & Spiegel fork shaft - it has insert bronze bushings, bypassing modifying the case. Just installed during full clutch build in April - work great.

Don't bore out the holes! The design is already weak enough.

Fork shaft/kit
Thanks Pelicans for the speedy replies. Found the kit right here on Pelican Parts.
