Wiring issue on rear turn signal please help

1979 911sc

My passenger tail light is blinking when I use the column or hazard switch but it also blinks my brakes lights on both driver and passenger sides

I have gone over the wiring diagrams and I am stumped. I have all new wiring harnesses and a new fuse panel installed. Somewhere along the install a wiring seems to be crossed????

Could it be from the dash? Hazard or Light switch?

Thanks for your help in advance

There is a good possibility that you have a bad ground. check the ground point for the passenger rear tail light assembly. My guess is that with a bad ground the current from the turn signal is passing to the ground wire and back feeding into the brake light filament which in turn continues to the driver's side brake light and then to ground on the driver's side. I could be wrong, but that's where I'd start.

Checked the grounds on both taillight assemblies. Replaced the hazard switch with another one I had in my shop. Chased the wiring into the dash and around the brake booster.

Im coming up with nothing….

I had a similar problem that turned out to be a loose connection between the bulb holder and the taillight housing assembly. If I remember correctly they were riveted together and what I did to fix it was use spray electrical cleaner and then tighten the rivets with a hammer and drift. My car is an 85.
