Where to send speedometer and odometer for repair

Anyone have a good new recommendation? Anyone in northeast or is all CA?

Nichols Speedometer re calibrated my speeedometer two years ago. They're in Greensboro NC. Very friendly and fast turnaround. Give them a call.

John Bell did a splendid job on my set. I had him add his volt meter to my Oil/Fuel Gage.

Hi,

I’m being told that it cannot be fixed, burn on circuit board. Does this sound reasonable or should I try the shops in CA

Tried one of the recommended on the east coast

Any help or advice appreciated

I just sent a 993 speedometer to Palo Alto. The replaced a capacitors and resistors, the gears, and sent it back as good as new. I would highly recommend them.

I sent a tach to Nichols Speedometer , they could not fix it.

I sent it to Jbell, and it was fixed 3 days latter

Kevin at Nichols worked on it again today and got it fixed, should be back to me in a few days.

Just for current reference on costs, I was quoted:

Palo Alto $350 - $395

North Hollywood $389 +

Nichols $249

And being closer shipping was $20

If I don’t reply back, it works and am very happy with the quick service.

does Nichols do custom color & look gauge faces?

Jbell made mine look brand new within a week.

My experience as well - had them install a voltmeter in my tach, they did a superior job.
