Door Hinge Bolt alternative
I'm interested to see if anyone has a suitable alternative to the shallow head triple square door hinge bolts? I'm not worried about keeping things original, so I'd like to find a shallow socket or button head that would clear the door and be less susceptible to stripping out.

Keep the triple square and get a triple-square driver set. From what I understand they're better for delivering torque and less likely to strip than other bolt heads, especially with a shallow head.

I actually have a triple square driver set, but had one on each side that was stripped. Similarly, I had one of the striker bolts stripped as well.

I guess someone tried to jam a torx in there at some point. I actually really like the triple-squares, kind of wish they were used more frequently.

Just use a standard 8 x 1.25 hex head bolt. Porsche did.
