911 G-Body Hood Hinge Bolts

Simple easy question, what is the size and thread of the bolt for the hinge on a 911 G Body hood? They are a little gummy/crusty and before I chase them with my tap, I want to double check.

Sorry, I don't have the answer. But if nobody responds, you can go someplace like Home Depot or Lowe's. They often have a board which offers various sizes and pitches of both Standard and Metric nuts and bolts that you can try yours against to verify. Good luck.

The manual I'm using says its M8x20 if you want to try threading another M8 bolt you might have to verify.

My window regulator on my car broke. Could you recommend whether I can do it myself or if it's better to take it to a service center?

@Jonathan1998 You should start a new topic for your question. You will also need to supply us with some additional info (what year is your car? Power or manual windows? What is your skill level?). FYI, I'm in the process of repairing these on my car right now (1985, power windows). The job isn't that bad but as always, you find stuff you would rather not find.
