Tach - where is 900 rpm. 83 SC
I believe each line below 1000 rpm is 250 rpm which would place 900 rpm just slightly below the 1000 rpm line, correct? Just confirming my idle is set properly

If you look only underneath the 1000 rpm it does look that way because there are only four marks. But in between all the other numbers are 5 marks, so I think each mark below the 1000 also represents 200 rather 250. So 900 rpm would be in between the 800 mark and the 1000.

The tach is not very accurate under 1000 RPM. I would not rely on it. You really need a meter or timing light that shows RPMs.
