Help identifying connectors

Repost since I couldn't upload the photos...

Hey everyone, I'm getting carpet installed on my 1987 911 Carrera Targa. I saw these two plugs that merge into the same cluster that goes to the center console. Does anyone have any idea what they belong to? They can be plugged into each other but that wouldn't make any sense (at least in my eyes).

The wire colors and connector types lead me to believe this could be audio stuff

Not 100% sure

Is one the fader switch?
