Factory Slant Nose Headlight Wiring

Hey all,

Helping a friend diagnose the headlights not coming up on a factory 88 slant nose and I seem to be having issues finding any sort of wiring diagrams. After comparing to a similar year 944 I'm leaning towards the wiring harness not being correct. In the attached picture they are jumpering two pins of the connector together, which doesn't seem to be correct.

Based on the 944 data, those two pins should alternate between 12V and 0V, e.g. where one is 12V and the other is 0V when the headlights are down and then they swap when the headlights are up.
In our case, these wires are 0V until you turn the headlight switch on when they both become 12V.

Any chance someone has a wiring diagram specific to this car or a picture of the same connector (one that plugs into the motor) to compare?

Thanks,
