993 AC Belt install

Hi all, I’m attempting to mount my AC compressor on my new to me 95 3.6 993 engine. Bought the continental 13x1085 belt but it seems like it’s too short. I can only get one bolt in and the compressor is titled so much that I can’t get another bolt in. (Tensioner Jack bolt removed). Any tricks I’m missing out on? Do certain engines take different belts?

Also, my parts are coated so I’m wondering if the slight build up between the mounting surfaces added up to cause this??

Planning on buying a longer belt, but anyway, just curious if any of you have experienced something similar..
