Opinions on Fuch wheel sizes

Would like some input on changing Fuchs wheel sizes on my 86 911 Cab.

Hi I currently have 16 x 6 and 7’s Fuchs on the car, it’s lowered (I know I might have to raise it if I change wheels) the fenders are already rolled as I had 17” turbo twists on it before I went back to the stock Fuchs wheels about 8 years ago. I’m thing about going 16x7 and 17x9, or 16x7 and 17x8. Your opinions and experiences would be helpful.

Looks really nice now. Why the change?

I always recommend 7s and 8s since 8s can be fitted with both 225 and 245 section widths in case 245s disappear again. Car looks great!

Just considering a minor change, still trying to decide?

Hey Rich, looks great!

Tips are slated for second week of September, have a ton of window frame anodizing to do, and decklid grilles too.

I have 944 Turbo 16x8s and 930 16x9s on my Carrera. This limits me to one tire option, the R888R which is fine for me and how I drive the car.

If I was in the market for wheels again, I'd get 911 16x7 and 16x8s and run the stock size tires.

The other easy option is move your 7's to the front and get 930 9's in the rear and run factory 930 tire sizes. Not as many tire options, but like I always say.....You really only need one option.
