Tampa, St.Pete., Sarasota Porsche Pelican Heads and PCAers!

How about Sunday June 8th from 8-11 AM at a Starbuck’s on 14394 North Dale Mabry in Tampa for swapping some lies and looking over everyone’s cars? I see a lot of this type of thing being scheduled at the Pelican BBS on the “911 Technical Forum” in places like Atlanta, Dallas, L.A, etc.

Anyone interested?

Maybe we should have a get-together sometime here in Hernando County--we've got a lot less traffic and I know some roads that have hills (!) and curves(!) right here in Central FL.

Let's see how many can make the 8th by posting here. If we dont get many takers for the 8th, I will get something going post Porsche Parade for sometime in July. I have already talked to PCA and they would be willing to help get the word out - post Parade anyway. I know Jack (fellow Pelican Head) and I would like to see everyone's cars and show off ours!

Come over the Howard Franklin or Courtney and get on the Veterans Exp going North. Get off at Ehrlich and go East (thats a right on Ehrlich from the off ramp) until you get to Dale Mabry. Turn right and Starbucks is about 1/2 mile on your right in a shopping center (Ballys, Shells Rest, etc).

I'm there. just let me know if it will be Sat or Sun and what time. I have to say if I had a preferred day it would be Sat. too. But I will go with the majority. This is cool.

Cool Guys! I picked Sunday just because traffic is lighter and parking lot less full on Sunday’s - especially mornings. However, sounds as if some of you need to go to church with the Mons Venus comments - haha. Looks as if there are at least six of us who can make it by the number of posts. No complaining about the location – you get to drive the P-Car!

I will post a map tomorrow. That will bump the thread to the top for Saturday morning readers. If you know some more P-Car guys or PCAers, drop them a note about it.

Also, if you are going to the Porsche Parade, I hear Monday June 23rd is the day to go. That’s concourse day and you will see mint Porsche’s. Make sure you bring your PCA card or you won’t get in!

Looking forward to meeting all ONE WEEK from this Sunday - June 8th.
