beware. the gas filler drain.

leaf-type debris, etc. ... may create a nasty environment.

fortunately? the rubber surround isolates the damage.

Good idea to replace the filler neck gasket at some point. I recently replaced mine and it was more annoying than expected. Some good guidance on here. Worth getting the genuine Porsche rubber as I’ve heard of fitment issues with the other brands.

one certainly wants to use masking tape while removing the snap ring. i would recommend a double layer on the edges.
