Need some help identifying this electrical socket
 

I messed up by not labeling the connectors when I took the CIS gear off. I have a 76 911S with the original CIS system. The car has been a hanger queen for a decade and I'm painfully trying to get it back on the road.

I dropped the motor to replace the fuel lines and since I'm there I decided to replace all the gaskets and anything else that looks bad, which is a lot.

The silver lining here is I may have found why my fuel pump has always ran with the key on and the engine off. I thought it was normal but I'm looking at everything and looking at the current trace schematic in my Haynes book I may have found the problem.

There are four electrical quick disconnects and I'm trying to ID which is which.

1: Warm up regulator. I know which one goes here by the wire colors

2: Auxiliary air regulator. This one I still have to ID

3: Cold start injector. This one I got from the wire colors.

4: This last one I'm having the biggest problem with. I believe its called Safety Switch on the Air Meter or something like that. The Haynes has something they call Air Meter Contact. From the current flow diagram current flows from the alternator to this Air Meter Switch then to the fuel pump relay.

So is this socket for the Air Meter Switch? The green one on the air meter in the center left of the pic

I have another question. On the bottom of the airbox is a nipple for a breather line. Its about 3/8" diameter and 1" long. I don't remember taking a hose off it so it may have been open since I bought the car. Its just next to the port for the EGR valve plumbing.

Regarding to your first question Yes, this is the connection to the air flow sensor or air meter switch.

Not sure what part you are showing in the pictures, but on the bottom of the airbox is a nipple that normally connects to a hose that goes through a cutout in the engine tin that drains any water or oil that finds its way into the box.

I'm just going to put a vacuum cap on it.

AAR has the same wire colors as the WUR, Red/White and Brown ground
Air flow switch has Brown/Red or Brown/Black and a Brown ground.

Thanks. That is useful information. Not all the colors seem to match what is in the Haynes.

I also have some patched wires. I may be the culprit here a decade ago when I let the smoke out.

I can do a continuity test between the WUR and AAR pigtails. They are on the same circuit on the current flow diagram.

The cold start will ohm to the temp probe in the left chain box cover.
After install, if the fuel pump runs, the cold start wire and airflow sensor are mixed up.
