Door pocket for 911 from 1973

Hello!

Does anyone have a picture of how this rubber strap loops around the door pocket?

I suppose I need this plastic strap holder as well

Cheers

The bungee enters the pocket via the upper hole, then through the clip, and out the lower hole. Some substitute a knot for the clip. Make sure the bungee has lots of give and not too tight, as it can lead to distortion of the pocket. Rob

Porsche Crest Thanks Rob

Now I understand

But it must be difficult to tie a knot behind the pocket when it is halfway closed, and especially the rear rubber cord.
Probably go for the Clip-option. Is there a special clip for that, or just inventing something ?

Your cord may not be correct. The factory used black sheaved bungee, not rubber cord. Bungee cord has lots of elasticity. Easier to work with, less stress on the pocket.
Your picture above shows the correct clip if you go that route. Rob

I ordered the cord from rosepassion.com so it should be the right one. But I've received many low quality or non-fitting parts from them.
It is stiff and I will use a bungee instead.

Cool

Was looking for what screw to use for the front pocket ( still looking) when I found this picture.

So there's one cord per door and it continues from the hole under the armrest to out of the hole in the bracket with the arm.

This picture is from the service Manual
