Vacuum connection not hooked up .. 3.2

Hi,

Sorry for my English, i am from Belgium.
I saw that i have 2 vacuum ports that are not used .
I have seen on other threads that one is connected just below it .. i have a plug there instead of a lead coming out .
Is this a problem that this ports are open ?
In this picture they are both used .. mine are open .

Thanks !!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1694381253.jpg

This thread discusses those lines. They should not be left open, it can cause a vacuum leak at certain times.

Post 11 and 14 show it's purpose, to prevent icing of the throttle body in cold conditions.

Thx ! So i could just remove the whole fitting and place a plug . Does anyone know the tread size ?

I would just put rubber caps on the ends. In the US they sell a variety of them at the auto parts stores.

Rubber caps on mine. Added small zip ties to secure them. If at any time the vacuum lines want to be returned, is simple enough to remove the rubber caps.
