Bilstein rear shock question

On the pelican site they do not have a sport rear shock listed for my 1969 911. This is for my racecar. Would the Rear Pair Sport Bilsteins for 911, 911 Turbo, (1972-89) work? I do not see why not. Any feedback?
Thanks

I think someone just posted something on this. Apparently the earlier cars had a slightly different (shorter) shock travel, and used a smaller bolt on the bottom. One person posted that they used a sleeve through the bolt hole to get the thing to work in his early car.

I just went through this last week and I just went for standard bilsteins. If they aren't stiff enough I believe that they can be revalved to match the sports. Search for my post last week and you will find more info on the sleeve option. BTW, I installed them last night and it is a huge improvement over my 30 year old Boges. Can't say if it would be enough for the recetrack though.
