Rotisserie Sizing
Hi Guys,
I'm going to make a rotisserie for my 1977 G body, similar to the image attached. Has anyone else made one and can share the dimensions so I can get the height and center of gravity correct? ![]()

Looks like this guy just put the rotation point and pivot point in the same place. Can anyone confirm that this worked for them?

Yes it works fine, as long as you have a scissor lift or some other way to get the car up in the air to attach it to the rotisserie.

I made mine out of two harbor freight engine pickers and engine stands. At the time it made sense $300 for two pickers. Not sure how much they cost now with inflation et.

There are lots of threads on the forum about DIY rotisseries.
Have you considered building an octagon style? My Alternative to a Rotisserie Shaun @ Tru6 built one like you are thinking - he likely has dimensions that would help you. Rotisserie question for Targa
