New door stops are loud

I replaced the door stops while I had the doors removed from the car. Now that I have them back on (panels/cards not yet on it) I'm noticing that the stops (96453705700) are very loud at the limit points. I realize they may be quieter after being used a while and when the door cards are reinstalled, but right now they're so loud that I'm thinking of putting the old ones back on. Has anybody had this problem? I've opened/closed the door a couple hundred times trying to break them in. Do they need to be lubricated?

Use the search function. Tons of fixes to check out.

Thanks. Using the part number wasn't helping.

The photos in post 31 don't explain the solution well, but others have noted that a 6mm screw instead of the clevis pin will fix the loud sound. I'll try that and then dig into trimming the rubber if necessary.

I updated both a couple years ago and used the lithium grease and over time they quieted down. Don’t give up

I would squeeze the bumps flatter that should help. Or just shave them down if its the one piece type

Thinking back on this, I recall initially installing the brackets wrong and it was difficult to close and sounded like it would bend sheet metal. After installing correctly they work fine and quiet
