Identify a weird 964 remote lock

Hello everyone,

My friends owns a 964 c2 and recently struggle to use his anti-theft, central locking remote: the buttons stopped working properly, but we need help identifying it to seek a suitable replacement. (Of course we had fresh batteries in)

Out of my google search, I couldn’t find anything alike, anyone out there knows?

There is a “Porsche” script that is almost gone but makes us believe it’s a genuine Porsche product.

Thanks!

When searching your pic with Google Lens, it seems that this type of remote has been used on other German brands. See here for example. Don't know if that helps.

Maybe see a locksmith and they can use one of their generic ones with a learn function. And copy it before it dies completely. Then get a new one of the same and swap the internals over.
