Atlanta Pelicanheads A/C clinic date has been changed

I hate to do this, but I have to change the May 17th date. I didn't realize at the time but my wife reminded me that friends of ours are coming in from NY for a visit that weekend.

Looking towards next month, June 7, 8, 14, 15 would be the next option. Post which date you could make it and we'll go from there.

Again, I apologize for not being able to do it next week. I know there are some Pelicanites out there with leaks that need to be taken care of and who are anxious to get their a/c back into operation.

14th and 15th is the Peachstate PCA DE at RA. Why not have the AC clinic in the paddock? Plenty of room and some good entertainment between repair jobs.

My preference is June 7-8 but will try to go with the majority or what works best for you Steve.

Steve, I was planniing to rebuild the compressor. I disconnected the a/c belt and rotated the clutch plate/shaft. there is a slight bind at the same place when it's rotated. It doesn't seize, but it has more resistance before it begins to turn easily again. Is this compressor worth rebuilding?

If I can throw out a suggestion, this coming weekend would work well for me.... the mother-in-law will be in town, and I *REALLY* need an excuse to get out of the house.

OK guys, we are still on for the 14th unless of course, it rains. Will post directions to the shop in the next day or so. 9:00 would be a good start time if everyone agrees.

This session we will check for leaks on the system and come up with a solution to make repairs. I am also going to bring along a couple of compressors disassembled to show you what's involved with disassembly/assembly should you need to.

does the shop have speedvision??? I'd love to come, but LeMans is on..not the movie...the race...it starts at 10, and they're showing about 75 percent of it.

Guess there's no takers for doing it in the Paddock at RA? New Patrick Motorsports (Centerforce) clutch and billet flywheel, Quaife LSD going in the car tomorrow. Can't wait to try it out around turn 7 this weekend.

I'll be there, even in rain if we're still on. I'll call your cell before I leave, it's a 1+ hour drive for me. Either that or check the forum before we head out?
