Fixed stuck driver's window

The driver's side power window in my car has been stuck closed for a few months now. The passenger window worked fine, so I figured it was either the switch, the motor, or the regulator for the driver's window that was busted. I took the door card off and swapped the passenger and driver's window switches, but there was no change. I could hear the window motor clicking slightly when I pressed the switch, but that was it. I tried to gently pull down on the regulator while pressing the switch (didn't want to get my fingers pinched - I probably should have used a tool instead) but nothing happened.

I was ready to give up and start pulling out the motor and regulator when I saw a comment in another thread about trying the emergency manual window winding tool (otherwise known as a 4mm hex key). I figured it was worth a try, so I put the key in the slot and turned gently. I felt a slight pop, which worried me at first, but the window did seem to move a little. So I turned on the power and tried the switch, and presto! The window moves perfectly! All hail the Pelican Parts forums! I'm not sure what was stuck, but it seems to work completely normally now. I imagine it could fail again, but for now I am just going to put the door card back on and move on. But before I do, it seems like this would be a good time to grease anything that I can. I guess I will just put some on the rollers, the big gear teeth on the regulator, and the worm gear teeth on the motor. Any other suggestions?

My driver's window was perfect, then it wasn't.

It went down and stuck down.

Also removed door card and discovered window glass partially detached from bottom channel, but fortunately not fully detached / crashed to the bottom / shattered.

Removed glass sheet, cleaned glass, cleaned channel, replaced glass and adjusted rails.

Knocking on wood, all is good again.
