Lot of work and expense went into that long review.
I’ve found over the years that oil drips on concrete floors/driveways will dissolve if you sprinkle some dry concrete dust or mortar on the spot or spill. Even if the oil was left or discovered after a day or two, the very absorbent cement powder still pulls out all the petrol in a matter of a few days. Got good results from OilDri compound but needs to be ground down to a fine powder. OilDri in its coarse granule form is better for containing large spills and swept up to remove most of the spillage, then follow up with finer powders. BTW, cement powders wash or sweeps away leaving no super clean spot on the driveway that might happen if any scrubbing with liquid cleaning agents or pressure washing. |
