About how much is a 3.2 service cost today at a high quality independent Porsche shop? Valves, oil , adjust and tune up. Thanks , Nick

I asked the local Porsche dealership for the costs of a service on my SC (only valves adjustment and oil change with self brought oil!) in 2020. They calculated roughly 1000€. Work effort only! Just for your orientation.

$235/hr at the local dealership. I needed them to dial in some stuff I couldn’t figure out recently and bit the bullet since the local Porsche indy is unreliable.

I'll put in a vote for the Pacific Northwest. I hear John Wlaker could use a great mechanic. Part-time of course!

Things have changed since you left. You couldn't charge that if you owned the building, got free parts, and had a "go fund me page"!

It's particularly good on a nice windy day

Plus all that disgusting haggis we have to eat, wearing a skirt get a bit more airflow going, and it's not so obvious it was me who farted.

I once did a 'tour of Scotland' by motorcycle, Skye, Highlands, Ullapool, Ben Nevis...beautiful country with extremely nice people...can't remember anything about the smell, I must say...so definitely that did not make a huge impression on me
