Wheel identification

I'm trying to determine what the wheels that came on my car are (since replaced with Euromeister Fuchs replicas) and what they are worth. Thanks in advance.

They are 9x17s and 8x17s. The date code is 2 94. Offset on both fronts and backs is 52.

They are marked with JWL, which appears to be a Japanese safety standard.

Cup 1 replicas in ABS ('87-up 944/951, 964, 993 etc) offsets.

Many/most Cup 1 reps you see on G-body 911s seem to have be 7.5J & 9J , but the OEMs came in 7, 7.5, 8 & 9J sizes 944 wheelweights.

And these are aftermarket for a late-offset car, so .

Real ones have a Porsche part # on the inner spoke and were made by Borbet (Germany), I believe. Who, apparently, (just to make life confusing), also made replicas. Mille Miglia also made Cup1 reps (marked "Made in Italy") - available in offsets for G-body cars, as well as the ABS offsets.

OEM wheels were strong and heavy. Except for the mag ones, which are quite a bit lighter, and much more desirable/sought after.

Factory never had Cups (1s or 2s) made in G-body offsets.

I was going to say that the reps are even heavier - but klaus (on a different thread on this very forum) sums it up perfectly:

LOL.

As to value - whatever you can get for them, not rare or sought-after. Or even, in this case, correct offset for a non-ABS car.

Some might want them regardless, just for the 17" tire selection - but the weight (OEMs are 12.5kg, ~=25 lbs - for the bare 9Js, and the replicas are heavier still) - carry a significant torque penalty for cars making less than a modern minivan.

These weigh 25 for the 9’s and 24 for the 8’s.
Much heavier than the Euromeister’s.
I’ll prolly just put them out there locally for a few hundred and see if anyone wants them. They are straight and true.
