Need to replace 1984 Carrera black leather seat bottom; Who is the best around?
I only need the seat bottom and am looking for the best person in the country that can redo my original black perforated leather seat in german leather like the factory original. Anyone have a recommendation?

Not a professional on this by any means, but to get the best match between the back and seat you may want to have both done at the same time.

I would check with Classic 9 near Detroit. Rod, the owner, is a great guy and does fantastic work on some beautiful cars sent to him from all over. I'd also echo what jac1976 said above. No matter how perfect the color and texture match is on the leather, leather ages and the new will not match the old.

Hi JBaez,
Like David Inc said…. You should seriously consider Classic 9 ! I had him make leather bottoms (only) for for my 84 Targa and the quality, appearance and feel…. in comparison to the the original seat backs….was perfect. I’d be happy send/post some pics of the seats….. if you’re interested in seeing them. Regards, JT |

All City Convertibles and Customs - Kirkland Washington.
Ask for Matt https://www.allcityconvertible.com He is an absolute master craftsman. He redid the entire interior on my '88 coupe. Original factory Porsche leather. The photos of the 911 on the title page of their website is of my car. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Fantastic. Was the rear seat delete factory installed or did you add it?

It is a factory kit that was installed when the interior was restored.

Second Classic 9. Had them do some work on a prior interior and was well done.
Closer to Austin is Cy-Fair Upholstery in Houston. They just did all my seats and leather surfaces for a refresh of the current car. You can see it here: Thread #262 https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/950199-show-us-your-cars-interior-14.html |
