Seal Installation Help

I have a 1987 Porsche Cabriolet.

For the life of me I have been trying to install a abriolet top to window seal replacement. It runs from across the windshield frame down to both sides of the door pillars. I attach copy of the seal.

Believe me Have researched all of the Tubes. Went to my Bently etc. and have combed the threads on this forum with no luck. the seal rubber that runs down the door pillars are oval shaped (in a Shape. Does the open face of the U glued to the door pilars or does the flat part of the oval shape get glued to the pillar.I am really confused here and have been struggling

If you guys can direct me to some installation guidelines or at least send me a picture of what the seal looks like on the pillar that would really help.

If you search there is a good video on Targa seal installation. I would imagine cabriolet seal install would be similar.

^ agree, this is the same, or very similar to targa seal. There are many threads on seal install, search for Dan Pechtal seal installation posts, he provides great details. You might also reach out - CARSInc. - he is a yoda on these topics.

I am sending my Targa top for full rebuild this winter.
