Seat opinion - Sport or Recaro LS

I’m having the hardest time deciding which way to go on seats.

Car is a 1980 911 customized, purple, all metal wide body, Kinesis wheels, 3.6 engine…

The rear seats are similar to what Singer did, super light compared to original seats.

I have Porsche Sport seats and Recaro LS (from the 80’s).

Here’s a picture of the rear seats and door panel treatment (the black handle and lid will be wrapped in brown leather).

Opinions please, what would look better, Sport or Recaro?

By the way, both seats weigh the same, 30 pounds and both are super comfortable/supportive.

Thanks

Porsche Sport = 3
Recaro LS =1

(I should have made this a quick poll, couldn’t figure it out)

If you have a set of sport seats they are the best support and fit IMHO, if people don’t have a set of sports the Recaros or Scheel-Mann seats are great alternatives for grip and comfort.

Brown interior in a purple car?! For that reason alone, I would choose the black Recaros, and then change the rest of the interior to black.

Thanks to all that provided feedback, looks like factory sport seats are the majority choice. I would have lost that bet.

The only thing that matters is how your butt feels in them.

Although I'd still change the interior color...

The factory Sport seats are all day long comfortable but I’ve never liked the shape of the slabby, square upper third. I would choose the Recaros
