Beru Spark Plug Wires
Much has been written about problematic Beru plug wires, but a picture is worth a thousand words. This after only three years and less than 5000 miles. I guess Beru ain’t what it used to be.

Interesting. I know that Beru makes Porsche plug leads but they’re obviously built to a different standard to the ones Beru is allowed to sell to the market.

Clewett much better.
|
Agreed. I replaced the Beru wires with a set from Clewett and you can really see the difference in quality. Hopefully they will stand the test of time.
|
Yep. My last set of Berus didn't last a year before turning into a sparkshow at night. Clewetts still going strong five years later.

Mine left parts in the spark plug area.brand new zero miles

Also here in Germany spark plug wires from BERU are a red rag, especially the plugs, like seen in the pic above. My BERUs are from 2014 and last year I had my first issue with one of the plugs which I had to change to a new one cause of ... guess what .... it has broken

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699913403.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699913403.jpg Brand new set of Beru leads (braided type). They had not even been used and snapped like they were made of cheese. Absolute rubbish. |
Mine also broke when new. Appalling quality.
|
Seems like they should just be pulled from pelican until they fix their issues.
