72 911 Oil Tank Sender wiring
Hello Everyone,
I need a favor from someone that still has the stock wiring in their ‘72… where does the wiring for the oil tank sending unit get routed? Where does it leave the engine compartment and the route it takes to the tank. Any photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Thomas

It follows the wiring to the right tail light, then tees off behind the housing and forward along the inner fender to the tank.

It is part of the plug. The wires Separare and run forward to the tank. Should be 2 wires.

Green white wire goes to gage, brown to ground. Should be 2 male spade connectors on the sensor.

Everyone, thank you so much. The green/ white dot wire is in fact part of the right taillight plug, and this solves the mystery.
Thanks so much for the help! |
