Paint - Spot and Otherwise

Curious what folks are doing for paint. I have some under fender, engine bay, and frunk work to do this winter and I need some help with paint suggestions - 1k, 2k, rattle can, etc... I have primer gun and paint gun that I have used in the past, but it is not "whole car worthy", meaning I think these would work fine for these smaller areas, but are not good enough, nor am I, for the a whole car application.

Paint code is L956 Pewter Metallic. 1981 SC, etc...

Most folks I know including me used WURTH SKS on under body panels for 'close to original' look. It's black though, not sure 81 was black or gray? Unfortunately, Wurth discontinued the gray years ago. Might have reinstated it though, so check with Pelican or contact Wurth directly. Recommend doing the entire fender for a more consistent look. Floor pan is another story.

I used express paint and got the color match cans and used 2k clear for the fenders, engine bay and interior body.

Thanks for the info. I'll do some searching around to see what I can find from Wurth.

Thanks for the info. This turned out great! I'll look into buying a can and trying it out.
