I removed the S hose from my car for a couple of weeks and did not do a good job plugging the engine cooler output. Oil leaked all over my SSIs. I have since done a couple of 10 or fifteen minute drives and I still get a ton of smoke off the exchangers after the cars hot and I come to a stop. Any body else done this and how long did it take to burn off?? I am beginning to think I sprang a new leak all of a sudden
TIA

Elombard,
I did this during a valve adjustment. Mine smoked when hot for about a week. Worst of all, smoke came into the cabin when heat was one. Nasty! I tried spraying Gunk, etc. into/onto my SSIs to get rid of the oil. I'm not sure it helped. Troy
