US Grand Prix Appreciation Day
I was lucky enough to drive one lap of the US Grand Prix course yesterday with my son in the car. It was part of the USGP fan appreciation day. Great event, fantastic time. The local PCA club was in force, as was the Ferrari club, Viper club, BMW club. Lots of beautiful machinery.
Attached is a pic of mine parked in the garage area, thanks to Tom (TRJ911) for the digital pic. Perhaps he'll post more of the other nice cars there. .JPG)

You can't have any dashes (or paranthesis, I think) in the photo file name. Need to rename the file and upload again.

How do I happen to live in Indy, own a 911, and NEVER hear about these things????? Oh well, looks like it was a good time.

Just one lap, and there were no high speeds allowed. More of a spirited tour than anything. Beautiful track though, would have liked to have spent more time out there. Maybe someday our local PCA chapter can arrange a DE event out there. I'm sure they would get a full field.
