Front fender gasket tape

Hi all,

I'm in search of a supplier that sells the gasket/caulking tape that sits along the top of the fender joining face to the body
(70, 911 coupe)
Also once in place and fender tightened, does anyone know the compressed thickness of this gasket? I'm trying to set the gaps.

Many thanks.

Our host sells those vinyl gap fillers. Just get the gap tight enough that you can't easily pull them out.

RV parts shops sell a butyl tape that works as well as the original tape.

Correction to my previous post. I thought you were looking for the vinyl gap filler that goes between the top back of the fender and the body just forward of the windshield. It appears you are looking for the stuff that goes between the fenders and the inner fender/body along the length of that joint. Last time I used 3M body seam sealer. It's held up for 30 years.
