PPI in San Jose

Looking to buy my first porsche soon. Found one I like in San Jose and looking for a shop to have a PPI done in that area. Never done this before but have been reading this board some(great info.) What will they tell me and how much should I expect to pay? Will they do both leakdown and compression? Shop names appreciated.

I used CT in Campbell when I purchased my last 911. I would highly recommend them. They were very torough, and great to deal with.

Third vote for CT Automotive in Campbell. Don Wise and his gang are the best; honest, very knowledgeable and reasonable rates. What else do you need?

Well, I would use Sportech, I did not have a good experience with Don, however that was a long time ago and it was isolated. I however use Mark at Sportech all the time and find him extreemly helpful. Mark pretty much runs a one man shop, keeps his overhead low and takes on jobs he enjoys. I have had Mark rebuild a trani, a motor top end, and numerous other things all without issue. Mark also is a very practial guy, and will down sell you on modifications to save you money where he does not believe you are making a sound decision. Not many shops out there that will talk you out of giving them business these days.
