Looking for Driver Footwell 3D Scan, Custom Tilton 900 Series Pedal Box Build
Anyone have a 3D Scan they can share of the driver side (LHD) footwell? This passes the old eyeball test and I have some laser cut parts on order to mock it all up but would be nice to get all the details into CAD since I’ve spent this much time modeling it at this point.

I do actually have a scan of this. I scanned one last year for my own dual master cylinder setup.
Any preferred format? |
I have since had the parts powdercoated black, just waiting on plating for final assembly. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...048f17c333.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e97caa9e50.jpg

I also have scans of the factory base and most of the rest of original parts if you want anything else.

Hi SBell,
Your setup looks good! I complicated things with going with a G50 gearbox and thus the need for a hydraulic clutch……. And planning on running the bevel drive off the trunnion up to a dash adjuster knob so can’t bring the clutch over as much as I would like. I think my pedal base is reasonably accurate for critical dimensions but if you are sending files, it would be good to compare! What pedal ratio did you go for? Leaving room for a 360 weld, 5.4 is where I’m at, if I max everything out, I can get that up to 5.7ish but it will be a little harder to weld. STL, Parasolid, or IGES would be great! File size might be a bit of an issue for email though. |
I went with 5.4 to just keep it the same as the factory pedal box. I have the raw STLs for the scans. I cleaned them up afterwards in solidworks so I should be able to export IGES of them too. If you're using Solidworks or something compatible I can also send you the SLDPRT files that I already added some mating geometry to.
I've got all my CAD stuff backed up to Google Drive so I should be able to just send you a link to download the files. Just PM me your email. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk |
