Fuchs Evo Delays?
Wondering if anyone else is in the same situation as me.
I ordered some of those Fuchs Evo wheels from the Fuchsfelge distributor in LA. I've been told the wheels are nearing completion in Germany, but that's been the update for a few months by now. Is anyone else is also waiting with seemingly no end in site? I'd like to know my $ didn't just disappear into the abyss... |

Patience is key. Last winter I bought my set of wheels directly from them in Germany (I'm in EU). Original ETA was given Oct '22, received my wheels in Feb '23. In my case, however, they did not require to pay upfront, but I wouldn't worry nonetheless.
Anyways, great light wheels, like them much more than the BZ 17's I bought 2 years prior.

Thanks for the replies, will just have to wait it seems. Good luck selling those wheels dg567, I'd go for them if I didn't already have my order in.

Just received the wheels from Daniel (dg567) as a Christmas gift from my sweetheart of a wife! Very well packed, fast shipping, no damage!
7&9 by 16. The shots below are one of the 9x16's. Beautiful finish. The satin black is a good match for the originals, as is the anodized rim area. Curious note.....The 7's and 9's weigh exactly the same...13.2 lbs each. My guess is that they both start with the same size forged billet block, then die forged to the desired size. Thanks Daniel! ![]() ![]() ![]()

I get the frustration regarding the delays, but there are a number of valid reasons for it.
The way I look at it, we're super lucky that an OEM supplier even chose to reintroduce these wheels for 35+ year old funny little German cars. They're worth the wait. @Tom_in_NH Interesting that your 7s & 9s weigh the same. I weighed my 7s at 12.52 lbs and my 9s at 13.19 lbs on a Wey-TEK Inficon (refrigerant charging scale).
