New Garage Issue - Need CE-PE

This is marginally Porsche related because it's holding me up from getting my shop built, so I can finally get my 911 up on a lift to play!

We got the first inspection on the garage today, which was just for the electrical and plumbing stub-in and the forms. We passed that stuff. The inspector is raising a fuss about the short wall on the one side of the garage. It's only 12" wide, but we're using a special Simpson piece for it (don't have the part # handy), and making the opposite wall a full shear wall. This same issue held us up in plan review, but once we showed them the stuff from Simpson, they said "OK" The inspector has decided he's going to overrule the planning guys (which he can do).

So what I need is an civil engineer with a professional engineer stamp to review this stuff and sign off on it (aka wet-sign). I'm hoping there's one on here somewhere, or someone who knows someone.
