Talking Gemballa 930

Here are some good pictures of a 930 Gemballa Avalanche.
The styling on a similar car has been discussed on the board before. Defenitely not to everyone's taste...

But for one moment try to go back in time to the mid 80's when it was made. Check out the bodykit, the rearview "mirrors" and the gauges. Electric everything, big stereo, and redesigned interior in white leather. 500hp engine.

This was the ultimate 911 of the future!

this car has been covered in another thread. As I said before, owning this car would make me want to become a cocaine dealer.

if I had the money, I'd buy it

and sell sledge hammer hits to it for 5.00 each and televize it with a web cam

of course Id remove the Ruf"f" engine and suspension work first

OMG! Somebody has actually bid $51K! Where's Crocket and Tubbs when we need 'em. This should be illegal.

Not too long ago Roland posted someting about Gemballa's very high standards and attention to detail. I think he also agreed that they were over the top.

Yepp, right out of Miami Vice.

But I'm not sure Crocket and Tubbs would have anything against it. In fact I think they would rather drive this Gemballa than a Corvette based Ferrari replica with Alfa Romeo door handles.

It's the perfect undercover car, no one will notice that they are being followed.... Hehe

That's just really ridiculous.

I do believe, however, that every white Porsche must have cocaine snorted in it at least once.

Cheers,

Wait, let me think about this for a second. Nope, I still think that thing is fricking ugly!. Somebody spend a lot of money though. Definite craftsmanship and attention to detail. But it's just modification for modification's sake.

Even in 1986 that would have been over the top, way over.

Everyone is so busy choking on that wing, did you notice the hood paint doesn't match?
